Chethana - as a Child Development Centre

Chethana School can be considered to be a Child Development Centre for the challenged that provides academic as well as non formal education and therapeutic services for children and young adults with physical and mental challenges. In addition to normal class our students are offered training in Yoga, Physiotherapy, Speech Therapy, Sensory Therapy, Sensory Path Therapy, Music, Dance, Physical Education, Computer Training, Tailoring, Yakshagana, Vocational Training and training in personal hygiene along with literacy education. School provides free education, food, uniform, medical facility etc. We provide our students vocational training and organize and take part in exhibitions to sell the items prepared by them. In addition, we participate in sports, competitions and functions for the physically and mentally challenged students

1 Regular Classes In order to Create an inclusive classroom where all students     are equally observed.
2 Yoga Can be helpful for students disabilities or chronic health conditions through both the physical posters and breath work.
3 Dance & Cultural Classes Dance classes increases physical fitness and also increases muscular endurance.
4 Physical education Encouraging psychomotor learning in a play or movement exploration settings to promote health.
5 Tailoring Classes & Vocational Training Uplift to bring these disabled students to the main stream of the Society.
