Academics

The academic training provided to students of our school is as per the MDPS,(Medras development programme system) Basic MR (Behavioural Assessment Scales for Indian Children with Mental Retardation) and enables them to answer the SSLC examination at age 15 and above. At present, there are 90 students and we are proud of the diverse nature of our students. We have experienced and qualified staff to conduct classes for these students.

1 Ramp Ramps are a necessity for disabled students to maintain their independence.
2 Full Fledged Physiotherapy Unit Aimed at helping the children to develop and maintain their mobility skills, muscle strength and motor skills, thereby helping children to improve their daily living activities and access to the curriculum.
3 Speech Therapy Speech therapy treatment for communication problems and speech disorder performed by speech therapists.
4 Computer Lab Computer Training gives for the necessary skills to apply for quality job in future.
5 Hostel Facilities Hostel facility for the deserved students by all required infrastructure.
6 Transport Facility Free transport facility provided for day care students those who comes from rural area.
7 Sensory Integration Therapy A dark room to get appropriate response to sensory, visual, auditory, tactile and Kinesthetic stimulation for students with Autism(Hyperactive), Low vision, Hypotonia, cerebral palsy and Deaf & Dumb.
8 Sensory Path Sensory Paths give students a chance to spend a few minutes of their school day walking and pushing themselves through their distractions also help students to develop motor skills, balance and spatial awareness. Sensory input can be calmed for a student with special needs who are over and under stimulated.
9 Audiology Room A method of using hearing aid to determine the extent of hearing impaired..
10 Separate Unit for Deaf & Dumb For the students of impaired speech and hearing. Trained educators of deaf and dumb for educating student about Deaf Culture, Arts, Sign Language and Co- Curricular activities.
11 Indoor Shuttle Court & Table Tennis Court Normally Children With Special needs are not encouraged to exercise. But Physical activity is important for children with special needs as it is for any child. Participating in sports and games can help boost and improve skills in relationship building and working as part of team. To overcome these problems of special needs children New Full Pledged Shuttle and Table Tennis Indoor Court we built.
